Poona Blind School and Home for the Blind was set up with the noble intention of helping the visually impaired to see the future bright and clear. Since then, the institution has grown from strength to strength and has achieved a respectable name in the field of education.

Forty years after inception, the number of students enquiring for admissions had grown manifold. Hence, a separate school for visually impaired girls started functioning. A vocational training centre was established to make them self-dependent. With two well-equipped campuses, a top-notch curriculum and a holistic development programme, both the boy and girl students now feel secure and are confident to compete with the mainstream.

Whether you are a student, an individual or a corporate team, we have various options in which you can get involved. Did you always want to help someone but never knew how? This can be the place to explore, explain and excel. What you will take away from here will be much beyond certificates and recommendations. It will be real-world experiences, new learnings and life-long friendships. Working for others is far greater than working for self.
